PLANNING UNDERWAY FOR THE 2017 PLEASANT PRAIRIE MINI MAKER FAIRE ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 25
Team Seeking New Committee Members
Do you have an interest in being part of the Pleasant Prairie Mini Maker Faire team? If so, we could use your help. We are seeking active committee members who can help us plan for, organize, and promote the event.
We’ll be hosting our first 2017 Mini Maker Faire community planning meeting on Wednesday evening, February 8 from 5:15 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. in the Village Hall Auditorium (parking is available on the south end of the building) at 9915 39th Avenue.
A Maker Faire is a community based learning event that brings tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students and entrepreneurs together to “show their projects and talk about what they’ve learned.” It’s an exhibition with opportunities for hands on and do-it-yourself interactions.
