Village Clerk's Office

The Village of Pleasant Prairie Clerk's Office offers our citizens a wide variety of services from issuing licenses and permits, election administration, and Village Board packet information to retention of official Village documents and public notification.

Election Administration

The Village Clerk is responsible for the administration of all municipal elections and is in charge of ensuring that the electoral process is fair, accurate, and impartial.


Official Village Records

The Village Clerk's Office maintains the Village Municipal Code of General Ordinances, all Resolutions adopted by the Village Board and other official Village documents. These documents are available for inspection during regular business hours. The Municipal Code of General Ordinances is also located on the website.

Public Notices

All Village Board agendas are publicly posted on bulletin boards at the Village Hall, 9915 39th Avenue; RecPlex, 9900 Terwall Terrace; and Roger Prange Municipal Center, 8600 Green Bay Road and also on this website under the Boards and Commission tab.


Many of the licenses required by the Village are available through the Village Clerk's Office, such as: alcohol beverage licenses; bartender licenses, dog licenses; peddler's licenses; cigarette licenses and towing licenses.

Village Board Support

The Village Clerk's Office prepares the Village Board meeting agendas, as well as the minutes from all Village Board meetings. Current and approved agendas and minutes are available at the Clerk's Office and on this website under the Boards and Commissions tab.

Official Seal

The Village Clerk is the official keeper of the Village Seal.
